I think that raising your voice means to speak out and bring attention to a topic you think needs to be noticed. For example in the article I read Chelsie Fairchild raised her voice and commented on Disney's new Maui costume. She said it was disrespectful to many Pacific Islanders. Her voice caught Disney's attention and the problem was solved. Moving on, when your voice is heard that means you were bringing awareness to an important topic and that you had quality reasons to support your opinion. If you would like your voice to be heard, you should gather understandable reasons and you should have a solid opinion.

Raising your voice means that you talk to a crowd and express your idea instead of just keeping to yourself. One idea that you can get your voice heard is to go to the courthouse and make a speech or just go in a crowd and they might be super mad at you or people will fight for your idea.I think the best idea is to to to a court house because if you loose you loose and know buddy fights.

To raise your voice means that you are trying to make a point in what you say and I think it also means that you are standing up for yourself and others. The voices that are getting heard are the ones who are doing what they are supporting people. I think the people who are doing the right thing like standing up for others. If you want your voice to be heard be brave and don't give up.If you want your voice to be heard you have to forget about people say about you because that makes you let yourself not believe in yourself. If you want your voice to be heard than never let yourself get hurt by what other people say about you, there is nothing wrong with being different.

Raising your voice means you are standing up for yourself. The ones whose voices get heard are the ones that support their voice and stay strong in the tough parts. They always believe that what their voice is about can be possible. They never give up on their voice. Ever.

To raise your voice means to be heard and stand against bullying. The voices being heard are the bullies, Coach Kenny Blakeney and Jeremy Lin. To make sure your voice is heard you can not hide your differences and speak out loud. You can also not react to all of the hurtful comments and take them as compliments replying with nice words and not going into a rage, but using it to channel it to help you do better at whatever you're doing.

The article I read was about Pacific Islanders and others disapproving Disney's Maui costume. They said the tattoos on the costume showed none of the importance it really showed to pacific Islanders. Raising your voice means to let people listen to what you have to say. Raising your voice in the article I read was people telling Disney to stop selling the costume due to their opinion. The voices that were heard were the ones that had meaning behind them. The people who had their voices heard are sometimes the ones who have people who agree with them. To be heard you need to have an importance in your opinion and have good reasons for people to listen to you. If your opinion has not support people will not see a reason to listen to you.

1.To raise your voice it means to be different and you don't have to blend in. To be heard you have to stand out and be different than the others and so that other people notice you. To be heard you have to be different and to not let other people tell you otherwise because then you would be normal. You should be proud and stand out to be heard and to be noticed.

To raise your voice means to speak up. If you are going against something then speaking up will help get it heard. The voices getting heard in my article are the Pacific Islanders. They were disappointed in Disney's Maui costume. It made the traditional Polynesian tattoos lose their meaning. It also made one race pretend to be another. To make sure your voice is heard you can create a friendly protest. Also you can share what you think on the internet. If they agree with you they will re-post your opinion and eventually your voice will reach who you want it to.

I think what it means to raise your voice is that when you share your opinion, whether it's your own opinion or you agree with someone, than you can make sure your opinion is heard. I think the voices that do get heard are the people who try hard to talk others into changing their actions. If you want your voice to be heard, you should persevere. When people hear your opinion, they might agree to your opinion, but some may disagree. If/when people disagree, then that shouldn't stop you from trying to make others hear your opinion to change their actions. You can start small with your opinion and grow big with your opinion.

I think "Raising your voice" in this context means to make sure your opinion about things or politics is heard and thought about instead of being disregarded. In the article I read,"Chicago March lets kids speak up about the future of the world", The students in Catherine Cook School created social media accounts and voiced their opinions through their accounts. I believe that the opinions that are heard and are regarded are those of well known people that many citizens look up to. We can make sure our opinions are heard by voicing our opinions to the world instead of keeping them to ourselves. We can express what we think about events happening in the world.

Raising your voice means to stand up to something you disagree with. The voices that get heard are the ones who are the strongest. Therefore, you should not be afraid to stand up and disagree. You do not always have to agree with your friends. For example, if your friend likes carrots and you don't, its ok. It is not okay if they say something like" You can't be my friend anymore. I don't like you!". If you want to get heard, you can spread the word. Tell your friends and family, get them to support you.

I think that to raise your voice means to let others hear you. What I mean by this is, raising your voice would be standing up for others and yourself. Also, it would be not letting the bullies "win". Letting bullies win is basically to react in anger or lose control.

Jeremy Lin is being bullied by fans because he is the only one who is a chinese-american NBA player. In middle school, the players on the other team made fun of Jeremy Lin. In college, other people called Jeremy Lin mean names. Then, Jeremy Lin got a coach to coach him. This guy named Kenny Blakeney, coached Jeremy Lin. Kenny Blakeney was also made fun of because he was black. Kenny Blakeney said it made him more stronger of being made fun of. Blakeney told Jeremy that don't get bothered by people bullying you. Jeremy Lin could be a better person and a better player.

Question 1: "What does it mean to raise your voice?" Answer: What it means to raise your voice is to stand up for yourself. So if you are getting bullied, stand up and say "Stop!" If they don't stop, then just tell an adult, or anyone who knows how to handle bullying.

Raise your voice means to speak up or to talk to someone in a fern type of voice. The voices who get heard are those who speak clearly. For example in the article it states that parents wants their daughters to get married around 12 to 13 so that they can be protected from violence and poverty. If you want to make sure your voice is heard you can talk to a group of people and say in a kind voice but also loud so that they can hear you. and that you are supporting your point.

What it means to raise my voice is that I am either frustrated, angry, and annoyed. Those people whose voices is heard, is either doing something good for everyone, or is speaking loud enough for everyone to hear you. What I can do to make my voice getting heard is to speak louder into the world and do great deeds for the world.

In my opinion raising your voice means to stand up to or for someone and making sure it is heard. Many people that are heard worldwide are presidents, senators, actors, people on the internet, principles, teachers, Players of all sports, authors, and important people. To make sure your voice is heard you could post it out on the internet, or make it known to those in your workplace, community, and school by texting and telling.
