One super amazing fact that we learned was that they had a snowpocalypse in 2014 when there was so much ice and snow that some people had to sleep at school since their parents could not get them! They had five inches of snow. The reason why it was so devastating because Alabama did not have the items to handle this situation. About six of their students in their class had to stay at school. Some students had to stay for three days and two nights. They had no shower so they were smelly, the lunchroom had food for them to eat, they didn’t do work, but instead they watched movies or did something else, and their school is one building.
