As we enter pass the office we walk past the gates. We sat down in the lunch pavilion and waited until we were allowed to go to the playground. Once the bell rang we all lined up in our lines and walked into our classrooms.
After we got in from morning recess, we started our math time. Our class took out the homework from last night and found a partner to trade with. Then we solved the problem that they wrote down and shared it with the whole class . Our class shared the answers that they got on the projector.
After we did the math cards, we got on our chromebooks and did Front Row. We all have to do math fluency, then we could do base 10. In math fluency they give you math problems that you have to get it correct to get coins. In base 10 they give you levels that you do to get coins. In Front Row you have to beat the levels and get coins so you can buy things in the piggy store.
After we did Front Row, we did Place Value Game Board. We finished up our games, and highlighted the rest of the games that we did not highlight yet. Then we started the extension. In the extension we had to use a whiteboard to explain our thinking. The questions were a bit harder than the game board.
When we finished the place value game board, we started watching our finished animotos. We each had a chance to present our animoto for our class to learn more about each other. We saw each other's format and we learned more about the people that presented. Most of us learned what type of games they liked, music they listen to, and what things or pets they have.
When the bell rang we all went to line up outside. We then waited for the teacher to let us go. We then walked then ran to recess and we started to play at recess and we played until recess was over and we lined up and waited for our teacher to come an get us.We then started to walk to the classroom and get to work on the next project or work that was planned for the class.
After recess we headed back to presenting our animotos. There were only a few people that were going to present. Each person felt like it was going to take longer. It was fun to learn more about our classmates in an interesting way.
After the class finished sharing their Animoto videos, we went straight to doing are blogs for are class. We got into groups the teacher assigned us then we went straight to typing on are shared blogs. We all took our time to type the paragraph then correct it. But once the two groups finished typing up the blog we closed are chromebooks and started to read.
When we finished our flow-maps, we read. During reading we are allowed to get books from the bookshelf, and move around. We are also allowed to bring books from home. We usually read for approximately thirty minutes.
When Mrs.Citizen told us to get out our chromebooks, she shared a code to watch a Nearpod about responsibility. The video talked about digital citizenship and the Rings of Responsibility. The center ring represents ourself and responsibilities that we have to do to stay healthy and the middle ring was about our friends and family and our responsibilities to them. The last ring was for our community and our responsibilities to them. Our community includes our teachers, classmates, coaches for sports, and our principal. We answered questions about what may happen for digital citizenship and which ring it connects to.
When it was lunch, everyone that brought their own lunch bag had to bring it to the lunch pavilion. When everybody that brought their lunch and put it in the bin, they departed to the field, blacktop, and woodchips. We had recess for twenty minutes. Following that we ate lunch we dropped of and ate our lunch.
At the end of the day, we got back from lunch, we took out our agendas out and wrote our homework and put away our agendas. Since it was a Wednesday we got to get out at 1:20. The bell rang and every ran home.
