At the beginning of the day, the school came to the pavilion and waited for the ten minute bell to ring. The ten minute bell rung and the whole school went to their classes to hang their backpacks on the hooks. We went to early recess for ten minutes and the twenty minute bell rung so, we got in line and the teacher came leading us back to our classroom.
When we came inside the classroom and we got onto our tweet slide on the computer that we did that we did yesterday. We looked at them to see if we needed to fix anything. The class went to go around and read each other's tweets and they wrote whatever we needed to fix on a sticky note next the our chromebooks and we made our corrections. Some of the corrections we had to make were: punctuation, spelling, it was hard to read, and it was too small.
After we tweaked our tweets to Mrs. Citizen, we shared a document that looked like a boardgame. We had to click on the links and then fill it in. They were all related to place value. The websites we used were base 10, Soccer math, Place value pirates, Expanded form, How much is a million, Funbrain, Khan academy, School house rock, Place value hockey, Rounding IXL, and Number rock.
After we worked on Place Value Math we typed in educreation.com. We just signed up so we could use for later. But we found out that we had to use for the place value math document.
After Educreations we did Front Row it’s a math practice and a test. First we did a math practice it has adding and division and subtraction. The test we did was called base ten then we could go to a store and buy thing with the coins that we have we could buy some things in the store like clothes or charters and other things. Some people are ahead of others by most of us are on the same level. This math is helping all of us in math because it has all of the math like division and all of it.
As the bell rang we went outside and lined up for reces. We walked to recess and went our ways and played different activities. When the bell rang we lined up and got ready to go inside. We then waited for the teacher to come. We then walked back to the classroom and came in quietly.
After recess ended we went back in the classroom and did our sixty second sweep and we waited for the class got prepared for the 60 second sweep. We then started on our problems after a minute. About 5-6 people got more than 30 but only 2 got all of them.
After we corrected our sixty second sweep, Mrs.Citizen shared a document with us explaining why and what is a six word memoir. We had to use six words that will explain us and who we are. We made a slide on our presentation/eBook, a picture with our six word memoir, and a Canva poster. Some of our six word memoirs were “Stay strong and never give up” and “ Reading is never not the answer”.
Later, Mrs Citizen put on GoNoodle so we can move around. The monkey was the first thing we did, he was teaching us the chicken dance. Everyone was dancing to the music, it went fast then slow. We then danced to “Sorry” by Justin Bieber, but it was the KidzBop version. We ended up doing a third one, so we did Strike A Pose, that’s when we copy a pose.
After GoNoodle we started writing, our teacher showed us two poems and read them. Then we copied one line and made up the rest for two minutes. Then she gave us five minutes to continue whichever one we wanted to add on to.
Since writing was done, we went to line up and walked out to put our lunch in the bin. We all went to go play on the field, blacktop, equipments, on the field we can play soccer,football,kickball and more, on the blacktop we can play basketball, four square, punch ball,spider and much more. On the equipments we can play on are the swings,monkey bars, slide, and on the bridge. When the bell rang we lined up at our line and walked to lunch.

Once lunch was over we came inside and took out a book and started reading. Some people read funny books and some people read happy books. We read silently for 30 minutes until it was time to stop. Then we put our books away and were waiting for the next thing to do.
When reading was done, Mrs.Citizen told us to get in our history groups that we created on the first day of school. We then got up and searched for people who have similar pictures. After about 10 minutes we finished and some people joined other groups and some stayed the same.
Following history, Mrs.Citizen passed out books to us. She told us to observe the front cover and the back cover. As a class we shared our observations before we packed up for the end of the day. Some of the observations we had were that there was a dog on the cover and that on the back there was a poem that we did for writing once.
Then we wrote down our agenda, the homework we had on Monday was to write a six word memoir about a family member. The other homework was to draw a flow map of Monday and Friday.The last homework was to read 30 minutes, and write down the title of the book, how many pages we read. That’s all for homework. Everybody rushed out of school to finally get home.
